Profile

Primary Responsibility
Contribute to one or more scrum teams in daily forecasting, sizing and resolving impediments while completing and delivering assigned tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the development projects, teams and team leadership with deliverables and engagements with Quality Assurance, Software Configuration Management and Project Management teams.
Deliver high quality software and perform peer code reviews.
Code, test and develop solutions per direction and requirements.
Participate in and support architectural and engineering directions.
Participate in Sprint planning sessions.
Participate in Sprint retrospective and action deltas and manage and resolve impediments and road blocks.
Develop working software to the definition of done.
Adhere to coding standards, patterns and practices.
Actively participate in daily scrum meetings.
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Provide accurate estimations of effort on assigned tasks.
Work closely and professionally with other team members including but not limited to SCM, DBA and QA.
Provide project status to team and management as needed.
Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or similar discipline preferred; Minimum three years’ experience as a software developer; And/or training; And/ or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working experience and competency with Microsoft .Net and C# is required.
Working experience with OOD/OOP is required.
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio is required.
Experience with unit test development is required.
Experience with SQL Server is required.
Proficiency in object serialization and de-serialization is required.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills are required.
Experience with XML, XPath and/or XQuery is preferred.
Experience in Multi-threaded processing is preferred.
Experience with SOA, SOAP and Web Services is preferred.
Experience with LINQ is preferred.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
