Roles & Responsibilities:
The SFDC Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and deploying solutions for our clients, using Apex and Visualforce, and often leveraging HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and other technologies. The SFDC Consultant must be able to communicate well with clients who have varying technical abilities, as well as with client staff. The SFDC Consultant should be able to handle multiple projects as well as monitor the progress of the tasks assigned to other team members. Will be responsible to resolve all the issues including the integration with other systems. Quality is key, as is an ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into a technical reality that is extendable and maintainable. The detailed responsibilities are as below:
Work with the team to define scope of development efforts.
Responsible for design and deployment of high quality business solutions on the Force.com platform.
Communicate with other resources and with clients regarding status, technical issues and creative solutions
Design solutions and form effective project plans. Add value in all stages of project work (definition, development, deployment)
Ability to provide multiple solution approaches for an issue
Development of on-target Salesforce solutions, leveraging Force.com sites, Apex coding, and other technologies
Play a lead role evaluating new CRM technologies/add-ons and develop plans for their implementation
Able to implement the best practices for all the Salesforce development activities
Leverage experience with .NET development, web services development, and SQL development to build integration points between Salesforce and back-end systems
Train other development resources on Salesforce development practices as needed
