Description

To maximize impact, Humana is transitioning to a customer centric operating model in which teams will be built and organized around the customer journey. These new teams will have clear accountability for outcomes and be empowered to design, develop and deliver experiences in support of those outcomes. We are currently in the process of standing up the Enroll and Onboard Journey. This team will focus on impacting the customer's journey from enrollment through their first year with Humana.

In this role, you will work with a diverse team of subject matter experts, designers, data scientists, engineers and product managers to build and refine our development practices, oversee execution, and continually iterate to ensure success. You will have the opportunity to institute processes that accelerate development and improve coordination across teams.

Success in this role requires a spirit of collaboration, clear communication, and the ability to maintain a strategic focus amidst competing priorities. Ideal candidates will thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous start-up environments.

Responsibilities

The Senior Product Owner maximizes value of product created by Agile team. Liaises with stakeholders and the development team ensuring the right product is being built, in the right order, within budget and by the deadline. Serves as the Agile team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


5 years of professional experience, including 3 more years of agile experience
Strategic thinker with strong analytic and problem-solving skills
Experience working process engineering, reporting, and data analysis
Experience working with one or more of the following tech stacks:
----Omni Channel experience (digital or telephonic) -OR-
----Experience with MarTech (i.e. Salesforce, Adobe, Sitecore, etc.) -OR
----Experience with .Net framework, C#, Microservices, APIs, Cloud platforms
Human-centered design mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Influential cross-functional leader


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


Experience with Medicare products
Experience with DevOps
Experience working in a variety of agile frameworks
Experience working in human centered design
Knowledge of Humana's internal policies, procedures and systems
Passion for making a difference in healthcare

This position is open to working remote within the Eastern Time Zone
