Profile

Programming Resources, Inc. has an exciting contract to hire opportunity for an exceptional ASP.Net web application developer with a minimum of 6 years of coding experience
to provide on-going development of our existing suite of web applications as a collaborative member of our development team. The applicant must be skilled in VB.NET, SQL Server
, and have good debugging skills. He or she must also have a high attention to detail, be results oriented, be able to manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively, be a team player. This position reports to the Manager of Application Development and will at times serve as a development project leader.
Position Essential Functions
· ASP.NET web application development using Visual Studio 2010 (or higher) and integrated source control with Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2008 (or higher).
· ASP.NET Web Application Development in VB.NET
· SQL Development (Stored Procedures, Functions, Views) in SQL Server
· Creating reports in SSRS
· Develop application solutions from documented business requirements in cooperation with Application Architect and Project Manager.
· Investigate, identify, and resolve production issues within applications and processes by working independently or with the architecture, development and infrastructure teams.
· Perform code reviews of development team’s application code, stored procedures, functions, and triggers following best practices and standards.
· Make recommendations to architecture team regarding new patterns, technologies, best practices, and standards.
· Interface with internal colleagues and external vendors.
· Be available when code is deployed to production.
