Cvent is seeking a Manger/Senior Manager of IT
Corporate Systems
to deliver key processes and change management/new initiatives for various business application implied in a high growth environment.
Manage the Workday platform, Internal Applications and Web Development. This individual will define overall business and product strategy, work very closely with the executive team, and partner with other cross-functional stakeholders to drive growth plans. The Senior Manager must have demonstrated both leadership and strategic thinking and possess strong technical skills.
This individual will be championing HRMS, Web Development, automation and other enterprise systems across the company and its global projects, while driving innovation with an entrepreneurial attitude.
Primary Responsibilities
Review and recommend configuration, documentation, testing, and implementation of Workday HRIS modules and upgrades. Collaborates with functional and technical team members to execute.
Provides support for the HRIS, including researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; performs scheduled activities, recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
Initiate and implement inhouse software applications for Cvent’s marketing, HR and finance divisions.
Lead and Manage Marketing Web Solutions Inciatives in CMS – Drupal 7/8, WordPress.
Architect and Support infrastructure required to host all types of web applications and tools.
Manage technical implementations of Corporate applications and tools. Recommend and implement automation solutions for integrating multiple corporate applications.
Define procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Trains stakeholders on new processes/functionality and trains new system users.
Develop and maintain change management process using tools like JIRA to manage projects and assign projects tasks to team members efficiently.
Mentor and manage developers to grow their skills and prepare them for increased responsibility.
Manage projects and provide overall guidance for initiatives or special projects.
Requirements
Minimum 6 years of experience with human resources information systems (HRIS, HRMS). Minimum 9 years of total experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience with Workday implementations, ideally with Core HCM, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, and Talent/Performance modules.
Proven understanding of data relationships between connected systems and their dependencies.
Experience in marketing and financial technology stacks with focus on Web and Mobile development technologies, testing and support. Hands-on experience in ASP.NET MVC, .NET Entity Framework, AngularJS, C#, Java, Web API, SQL Server, IIS, Apache, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS.
Proficiency with understanding of Web Servers (Windows, Linux) and Web Services using REST or SOAP. Understanding of architecture styles/API integration models.
Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Web Hosting, S3, lambda, Content Delivery Network (CDN), Continuous Delivery (CD) is a plus.
Critical thinking skills required to analyze information, troubleshoot issues, and recommend innovative and long-term solutions.
Ability to use a consultative approach with peers and stakeholders; possesses business acumen to understand business challenges.
Strong oral and written communications skills with ability to present to an executive audience.
Ability to work effectively in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressures.
Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple large initiatives in parallel.
Bachelor's Degree in a related and/or technology field.
