Looking for an individual with a demonstrated record of long term employment. Need strong tenure and interest in permanent employment. Manager looks for someone that is stable, loyal, dedicated. Team of 12 developers for the eCommerce team. Only new development or enhancements, no support/production.
Position Accountabilities
•
Assures effective and accurate analysis, design, and development of systems
• Assures accurate development of applications and systems to support the business
• Assures application development delivers the desired functionality within the estimated time frame and strives to improve the business application processes
• Assures timely completion of all assigned IS projects within the project guidelines mutually agreed upon with IS Management and that the results are of a consistently high quality that meet the business needs
Position Essential Functions
•
Develops and maintains complex applications using a thorough understanding of a number of technologies
• Familiarity and expertise with industry technologies to achieve a high degree of expertise
• Develops, executes and continually improves:
• Quality assurance through unit and regression testing
• Clear documentation for applications that will help future developers in modifying the code
• Establish, maintain and evolve code standards
• Gathers and continually improves cross-functional business area knowledge
• Provides analysis, design and documentation for projects
• Communicates extremely well with business units to receive user requirements
• Responds promptly to business requests
• Solicits customer feedback to ensure the proper outcome
• Assists IS personnel in troubleshooting problems
• Assesses the use of proper technologies for specific projects
• Understand the business and how information systems integrate into this business
Educational Preference:
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
Job Experience:
• 2 - 4 years of business analysis experience within the software development life cycle.
• Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Well-organized and able to prioritize and coordinate simultaneous tasks and projects while addressing customer needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
Computer Experience:
• 3 Years experience with Microsoft C# 2.0/3.5/4.0
• Experience with ASP.NET/Web Services
• Experience with T-SQL and SQL Server RDBMS
• Experience with software development methodologies
• Experience with Microsoft Commerce Server is desired but not
