Consultis, a premier Technical Recruiting Services Company with the single focus of pairing the right candidate with the right employment opportunity is currently searching for a Sr. Flex Software Developer for a Direct Permanent Hire opportunity (FTE) with our Central Florida based client. Position Overview:
Our client seeks a highly motivated, self-starter, experienced software engineer with a thorough knowledge of Flash & Flex technologies to develop & maintain our enterprise-grade transactional software. You will be an integral part of a small, dynamic team utilizing agile development philosophies and focused on rapid speed-to-market. The ideal candidate will have:
5 years experience in a professional software development environment
3 years experience in Flex 3/4
Knowledge of web design & deployment technologies including Javascript, JQuery, PHP, HTML, DOM, CSS, Apache/Tomcat
Experience working with XML
Familiarity working on Linux operating system
Knowledge of typical development tools such as IDEs/debuggers, code repositories, bug tracking systems
Excellent problem-solving techniques
Strong interpersonal & communication skills
Other desirable, but not required, skills include:
Experience with Java
Experience with .NET/C#
Experience using SQL & ODBC/JDBC to MySQL or other relational databases
Knowledge of secure coding techniques
E-commerce and/or Ticketing industry experience
