Needs to be able to work as part of a small, fast-paced team.

Responsibilities
- Develops software for critical customer applications
- Plays an active role in agile software development processes supporting the design and creation of applications and design patterns
- Responds to dynamic requirements that focus on high value impact to end-users
- Utilizes good programming and documentation techniques to ensure scalable, survivable applications
- Collaborates in peer reviews of software code.
- With company support, pursues domain certifications and constantly enhance the level of rigor applied to our teams software practices
- Identifies and recommends quality improvements to software applications processes and procedures
- Manages time effectively with minimal supervision to accurately scope projects and ensure that projects are on time
- Trains and mentors less experienced members of the department as well as assists team members as needed
- Develops graphical user interfaces with high level of human factors experience
- Participates in standard code cycle releases to development environment
- Remotely supports production deployment of software to ensure successful transition to operations and maintenance
- Designs test cases around code modules to evaluate functionality
- Participates in daily meetings and other agile processes to ensure quality rapid capability delivery
Qualifications/Education
* B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent education and experience required.
* 3 years of experience with web application/object-oriented development required.
* Strong commitment to quality, architecture, and documentation
* Ability to communicate to all levels of users (internal and external), strong problem solving skills, adaptable, proactive, and willing to take ownership.
*government security clearance and must be a US Citizen
