Job description:
Satellite Healthcare is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to lead an existing team of developers. The candidate should be self-motivated and dependable, possess a strong designing and coding background with Web Applications development, have excellent communications skills, and be able to provide and deliver solutions to meet clients* needs.
Required Skills:
* Extensive experience in designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging new software or enhancements to existing software as part of a software product
* Extensive experience in designing or implementing N-tier solutions.
* Strong track record leading a technical team in building and delivering software systems
* Proven track record of building and deploying highly scalable software solutions
* Minimum 6 years professional development experience with .NET using C#, ADO.NET, and ASP.NET
* 8-10 years software development experience
* 7 years Website and Application development utilizing HTML, DHTML, CSS and JavaScript
* 7 years Internet standards such as HTTP, SSL, XML, XSLT and SOAP
* 4 years Team lead in application development
* Must have knowledge and hands-on experience in Object-oriented design and development
* Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2005 and 2008 and stored procedure development (T-SQL)
* Excellent communication skills
* BS in Computer Science, or related
Desired Skills:
* Minimum 6 years of hands-on programming experience in team environments working N-Tier systems.
* Experience with developing in Silverlight
* Experience with jQuery and HTML5
* Strong desire to learn emerging technologies and to innovate.
* Ability to support multiple concurrent projects.
* Candidate must possess strong communication skills and should be a proven team player.
* Demonstrated understanding of how quality software is designed and constructed.
* Ability to learn. Candidate must show they can learn and adapt to the rapidly changing technology
* Healthcare industry experience is a plus
