We need someone to help solve those. You will work as part of an Agile team of Design, Development and QA addressing Re-factor, Bugs and Feature projects. You will be exposed to both new technology and asked to do more than what you will elsewhere. You will be challenged. You will have a chance to learn as well as lead amongst some very smart people.
Essential Functions
Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
Modify, repair, or expand existing programs to correct errors, increase efficiency, upgrade interfaces, or improve performance: aka Re-Factor
Participate in Research and Development, Proof of Concepts and evaluations of new technologies in order to better solve the problems we face
Research and remain informed of new technology and development tools
Involved in and familiar with all phases of software development lifecycle
Experience working in Agile project teams
Inform and be mentored by colleagues and partners
Write and understand reason for code in addition to participating in code reviews
Job Requirements
Demonstrated experience working on commercial grade cross-browser web applications.
Knowledge of Design patterns, Refactoring, and Unit Testing
In depth understanding of session management, viewstate optimization and .NET page life cycle
Excellent Communication, Analytical, and Development skills
3 years’ experience with JavaScript/Ajax/JQuery/JSON
2 years’ experience with C#
Experience with .NET 3.5/4.0, ASP.NET,VB.NET, SQL, XML, CSS, HTML
Exposure to LINQ, NHibernate and MVC
Experience with Razor View Engine a plus
Education
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Math or related experience
Masters or PhD a plus
3-5 years of professional experience
Certification & Licenses
Microsoft or other technical certifications a plus
